Huawei makes a mark in India with Ideos smartphone

The technological realm is advancing in leaps and bounds as scrupulously crafted handsets are being unfurled each day from various brands like Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and more. Well, Huawei has slid the cover off its new Ideos smartphone in India.

The Ideos phone incorporates a proximity, ambient and gravity sensors as well as lends support to about 32GB SD memory. Mobile buffs who are always on-the-move can entertain themselves with a wide array of applications and services such as Google Talk, Google Maps, YouTube and Gmail. This Android 2.2 smartphone is capable of delivering a leveraged internet experience with swift browsing and downloading.

Anand Narang, Marketing Director at Huawei Devices, remarked, “Innovation and premium experiences shouldn’t be restricted to high-priced devices. In our research, we found that Indian youth and young executives are looking for smart-phones having novelty, style, networking and performance features at affordable prices. We believe that Ideos will redefine the internet experience for Indian youth.”

Owners can effortlessly access the internet-mobile Wi-Fi router that helps them share internet with about eight products, WiFi 802.11n, 3G HSDPA 7.2Mbps downloads and USB modem. In addition, users can enjoy various apps on the Android Market and easily run applications on the SD card, thanks to the Android 2.2 operating system.

The Ideos smartphone can be snapped up via Aircel and Tata Docomo for Rs. 8,499.
