The Huawei Ascend Mate 2 has finally been released after months of speculations at the CES 2014 and it comes across as a pretty impressive smartphone. Nothing has been revealed about the phone’s availability and price details, but we are expecting it to be launched in regions across the world pretty soon.

Following in the footsteps of the Ascend Mate, the second generation phone also flaunts a big touchscreen. The key highlight of the phone compatible with 4G LTE is its battery life and if the Chinese OEM is to be believed, you can watch as many as 6 downloaded movies or listen to music straight for 100 hours before the power runs out. A 4050mAh pack is said to be capable of pulling this feat off as it is deployed with a power-saving technology.
