Huawei, Chinese cellphone manufacturer has unveiled that it will launch series of smartphones. These series will run down on Google’s Android operating system.
Huawei is China’s second company to join the alliance after China Mobile and it is one of the 14 companies who joined the Open Handset Alliance. The company says that the Australian telecommunications companies can sell Huawei smartphones based on Android operating system.
The Huawei spokesperson said that “Huawei can confirm that their first Android smartphone is scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2009. Huawei’s smartphones can be ordered and developed for Australian operators based on any such requests,”
Huawei will launch this device in the third quarter of 2009. Hopefully the device will make its place in the market of smartphones. We just got to wait till we get more information on its smartphone device.
