HTC Windows Phone 8X UK release date gets exposed on Amazon

Even though the company isn’t ready to speak about its HTC Windows Phone 8X UK release date, Amazon seems to have taken the liberty of disclosing the details. To top it off, this unlocked version of the handset has already hit pre-order status on the retailer’s website for a price of £531.43.

The device in question was under speculation for quite some time and it was unveiled back on September 19. The company also announced the phone’s availability for markets across the US, Europe and Asia Pacific to fall sometime during November. However, there isn’t any confirmation on the exact launch date for either of these regions.

As TechnoBuffalo points out, many anticipated that the smartphone will debut in the US after Window Phone 8 is launched that’s scheduled for October. So a November 8 release for the UK via Amazon shouldn’t be much of a surprise. Moving on to the specifications of the phone, it has a 1.5GHz dual core processor assisting the Windows Phone 8 platform in carrying out smooth operations.

By now, many followers would be aware of the fact that the smartphone wears a 4.3-inch Super LCD2 display layered with a Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating for preventing scratches. Another prominent highlight is the 8MP rear-facing BSI camera with LED flash that allows users to capture images and record videos. Attributes like the Beats Audio technology, 16GB of internal memory and a 2.1MP secondary snapper are also included.

Going by the story, the HTC Windows Phone 8X UK release date via Amazon is scheduled for November 8. The handset will also be available through Clove sometime during November.
