WiMAX celebrates this season with HTC as they both collaborate to launch a mobile phone that supports both GSM and WiMAX network, Max 4G. The device is also known as the T8920. The phone is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and the HTC TouchFLO user interface. The phone seems to be a complete package with all the latest innovative features.
The HTC Max 4G sports a 3.8 inch, 480 x 800 touch sensitive display. The HTC Max packs in tri band, GSM, GPRS and Mobile WiMax. T8920 inherits a Wi-Fi radio and a Bluetooth with stereo audio support. The phone equips a 0.3 mega pixel front facing video calling camera and 5 MP camera with auto focus at back. There is also 8GB storage capacity. The GSM and WiMAX talk time battery life are 7 hours and 3.8 hours respectively, Standby time of 14.5 days for GSM and 2 days for WiMAX.
The Max 4G releases on November 26, no pricing details announced so far.
