HTC S743

HTC has created a stylish smartphone called HTC S743. It is the perfect example of a fusion device where style and power are combined together to still retain the traditional features of a cellphone.

HTC S743 comprises a full QWERTY keyboard offering quick access to emails and text messages while the traditional 12-key pad design will allow immediate access to calls. HTC S743 has a 2.4 inch wide display screen but without the touchscreen feature. The bright and large display will make reading and displaying pictures more clear and big.

“While others are content focusing on a single design or user interface, HTC is dedicated to bringing the benefits of mobile convergence to all consumers, without forcing them to use a device that doesn’t truly fit their lifestyle,” says Jason Mackenzie, vice president of HTC America. “The HTC S743, which packs high-design and high-performance into a trim 4.9 ounce package, is a great example of HTC’s rejection of a ‘one-size-fits-all’ philosophy.”

The sleek phone runs on the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system and so it also inherits the Mobile office suite. This will enable users to work more profoundly through their device. The S743 phone is compatible with Microsoft Exchange, personal POP3 and IMAP4 email protocols. Like HTC Diamond the S743 has a sleek glossy finish giving it a very sophisticated look.

The attractive and stylish phone will be available in US in the first quarter of 2009. Pricing details are not yet revealed.
