Announced earlier this month, the Verizon Wireless HTC Rezound price and availability were declared just recently. This smartphone should appeal to music lovers as it comes integrated with Beats Audio, designed for good sound quality, and is accompanied by exclusive headsets that have been created in collaboration with Dr. Dre.
The latest HTC handset is equipped with a 2MP front and an 8MP rear facing camera, the last mentioned enabling users to shoot videos in 1080p and featuring auto focus, f/2.2 aperture, a 28mm wide-angle lens as well as dual LED flash. The 28mm lens delivers panoramic landscape shots while the camcorder plays back video in slow–motion so that users can view exactly what they have captured. If photo enthusiasts don’t like something in their videos, they can easily edit the clip right from the smartphone.
Running on the Android Gingerbread OS, this device also possesses the next generation HTC Sense. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 processor and the 4G connection of this mobile hotspot can be shared with up to ten Wi-Fi enabled devices.
The Rezound is embedded with a 4.3-inch 1280 x 720p super LCD HD touchscreen display which offers a 16:9 aspect ratio so that there is no distortion or cropping while viewing the HTC Watch media content. It features 16GB internal memory and is pre-installed with a 16GB microSD card along with 1GB DDR2 RAM.
Verizon Wireless is currently offering the HTC Rezound for a price of $299.99 with a two year contract. The smartphone can also be bought for a price of $649.99 without the contract.
