HTC prepping to launch 16MP Windows Phone 7 handset?

HTC Windows Phone

HTC has so far released several handsets powered by the Windows Phone 7 platform to entice mobile masses across the world. According to a post on UnwiredView, PocketNow has stumbled on a video suggesting that HTC is working on a Windows Phone 7 device equipped with 16MP camera sensor and dual LED flash.

The recent video featuring the allegedly new HTC Windows Phone handset has cropped up on several websites, adding fuel to many speculations. The phone seemingly bears a striking resembles to HTC’s Desire S, except for the capacitive buttons.

If true, this latest device is most likely to double the megapixel count of the company’s highest resolution phones currently available in the market. HTC’s product range until now does not include handsets equipped with camera resolutions more than 8MP.

Apart from the supposed 16MP camera resolution and rumored dual LED flash, none of the device’s other specifications are made public yet.
