HTC Leo specs spotted, affirms Snapdragon CPU

Previously there were rumors stating that the HTC Leo is a flip phone. Now, the buzz is that the HTC handset may sport a standard monoblock form factor like the iPhone or HTC’s Touch HD, reports Mobilewhack.

Reportedly, the name of the handset– Leo is just the codename and the phone will supposedly get a new name. The specs confirm Qualcomm’s 1GHz MSM 8250 Snapdragon chipset for the handset.

Apparently the mobile device will sport a 4.3” WVGA touchscreen display offering a 480 x 800 resolution. It is speculated to offer a 5 megapixel auto focus camera with dual LED flash.

Further, the device is also said to support Quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity and dual-band HSDPA connectivity (900/2100 MHz). The phone might offer Wi-Fi, GPS and A-GPS functionalities. It is likely to incorporate an accelerometer with light & proximity sensors along with a 3.5mm headset jack. The handset apparently offers 512MB flash memory and 320MB RAM along with MicroSD card support. The mobile phone is inclusive of a 1230 mAh battery. It measures around 121mm x 67mm x 11mm.

The launch and the pricing details of the smartphone are not yet revealed.
