HTC gives a face-lift to Touch HD2 with Android and 628MHz processor?

HTC Touch HD HTC fans can gear up for the latest in the pipeline by the company. HTC is upgrading its Touch HD handset by including the new operating system Android and a faster 628 MHz processor, reports Boy Genius Report.

The earlier HTC version was running on the Windows Mobile operating system. However, with the advancement made to the Touch HD2 model it’s now expected to be based on Android.

Reportedly, the phone will feature a 3.8-inch touchscreen display which is same as that of its predecessor. Conversely, the earlier version boasted of a 528 MHz processor and the upgraded version is believed to run on a faster 628 MHz processor.

However, there is no word on the other details and specifications of the phone.

Furthermore, the price and availability of the HTC handset are also not known yet.
