About a month ago, HootSuite was spotted lending support to two new languages for the iPhone. Now, HootSuite has upgraded an iOS4-ready version of Hoostsuite app for iPhone with many other exciting features to enhance the entire social media game. The new update emerges to be a great treat for users since the app includes addition of location-based social game ‘foursquare’, customizable re-sizing fonts for simplified reading, and significant updates to iPhone’s iOS4 to enable app swapping and performance tweaks.
For those unaware, Foursquare is a social game which uses location-based services to spot friends, discover users’ city, and collect extra points. Users can now be tagged as ‘mayor’ merely by frequently visiting their favorite local coffee or pizza joint, thereby resulting in various perks. The enhanced app packs in attractive features like ‘Check-in’ and ‘Shout out’ that help users log in and then shout out their current location to friends on Foursquare, Twitter, and Facebook.
Users can now also ensure uninterrupted fun times as ‘Check-in streams’ helps them locate friends who have just signed in. The feature Check-in history allows users to check their prior records and refresh themselves with old memories. Designed to make users’ life easier, it also comes with features like Re-tweet choice, Font sizing, Timestamp styles and Avatar sizing.
Users can now easily select moniker displays to identify their contacts, share their location intuitively on every update and save photos to the iPhone’s library while regulating the image quality.
The enhanced HootSuite iPhone app is available at the iTunes App store in Lite (for free) and in Full versions for $2.99.
