Palm Pre GSM A new version of the Palm Pre has been supposedly certified by Wi-Fi.org. According to I4U, the GSM and 3G enabled version of the Palm Pre will soon hit the markets. It is also believed that the new version is certified as the P100UNA for US use.

Since a long time, users are anticipating a GSM version of the popular Palm Pre. Customers in the US waiting for a GSM Palm Pre now have a reason to be happy. Apparently, there is also a mention about a European Union and Vietnamese version of this smartphone. Moreover, one certificate supposedly states that a Pre version will be compatible with either or both US as well as Canadian carriers.

The Palm Pre was launched in May, 2009 and is packed with several exciting features as well as capabilities. It extends support for the 3G EVDO Rev A and Wi-Fi capability along with other specifications. The device comprises of a 24-bit color HVGA display with 320×480 resolution.
