The OEM makes it a point to state that the handset will be launched in limited editions and there will be only 555 units produced worldwide. Each model will carry an exclusive number that will not be found on others in the series.
So what according to the manufacturer justifies the retail value of the Cruiser Titanium? Well for starters, it has been built in a single-piece form with titanium that is said to be utilized by the aerospace industry. Following this is the course of polishing the case for around 8 hours and the company has supposedly employed the expertise of high-skill craftsmen in the process to make it sturdy and accurate.
The robust metal could add up as a plus point for the device while competing against other luxury products. To describe the appearance, the handset shows off an elongated rectangular look hoisting keys made of steel on the coal-black front panel. And if we were to go by the manufacturer’s word, each one of the 555 models has undergone rigorous hand polishing by craftsmen.
Turning our attention to the mundane specifications, the phone weighs 106 grams and measures 121mm x 46mm x 12mm in dimensions. A 2-inch TFT display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels has been squeezed into place onto the front. Beneath this lies a traditional 21-key mat to facilitate typing and dialing. The device has been based on the Symbian S40 platform and includes a 2MP camera on the rear.
One of the phone’s major shortcomings is the internal storage capacity of 30MB that the company proffers. Moreover, even the expansion slot supports a memory card of up to 2GB only. Users can drop any ideas of finding Wi-Fi, whereas Bluetooth 2.0 has been included. Its 860mAh Li-ion battery can apparently render roughly 5 to 4 hours of talk time or up to 300 hours of standby.
The Gresso Cruiser Titanium has received a listing cost of $2,100 in the US that translates to approximately 62,967 RUB in Russia. Apart from the aforementioned countries, it can be bought through select retailers in regions such as Vietnam, Ukraine and St. Petersburg amongst other nations that the OEM has listed down.
