Implementing feedbacks and encompassing distinct market needs, Google has been constantly revamping the user experience with interesting tweaks. The official Google Mobile blog now shares that the company has introduced new enhancements that promises to make the Search app for iOS more responsive along with other visual changes that make search results easier to read.

The updated version claims to be around 20 percent more responsive as users’ type in search queries. Besides, the ‘Just Talk’ feature will be off by default. This feature enabled users to search using their voice simply by bringing the handset close to the ear and speaking rather than tapping the microphone icon. Google anticipates that deactivating this feature may boost the app’s overall performance.

Needless to say, users can always activate this feature under the Settings > Voice Search menu. The company has also increased the font size and the entire search result is now a tap target than just the link. This new update can be enjoyed on devices running iOS 3.0 or above.

Users can download the updated Google Search app through the App Store.
