Google’s Nexus One misses on multitouch

Google Nexus Phone Ok, there were loud celebrations when Google’s Nexus One touched ground with gargantuan vim and ebullience. But here’s some news that may bring users a feeling of disgruntlement. Well, according to Engadget, the much-hyped Nexus One misses the mark by not adding multitouch to the device.

Seemingly, users may scrunch their shoulders as there’s no multitouch support in the browser or in Google Maps, much like Verizon’s Droid. But, the handset for sure comprises a 4GB microSD card and 1400 mAh battery, and runs really fast on the lane of speed.

Great in looks and overly sleek, the Nexus further features an OLED screen, a micro-USB connector and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Designed to be super snappy and faster than the Droid, users can now actuate its trackball to focus while its low-light performance emerges to be pretty decent.

Though Nexus One managed to grab tons of attention, but users may be disappointed to hear its dearth of multitouch.
