It has been quite a while since the Google LG Nexus 4 was unveiled and the device is available through Three UK only now. Users have the option of signing on the dotted line for a 24-month customer agreement or opt for one of the off-contract Pay As You Go plans.
The high-end device from the South Korean manufacturer has been wrapped into an eye-pleasing enclosure drenched in the black hue. Its dimensions are 133.9 x 68.7 x 9.1 millimeters and the phone tips the scales at close to139 grams. It has been loaded with 16GB of integrated storage, but there is no microSD card slot for memory expansion. The smartphone ships with 2GB of RAM.
As for the processor, the latest generation Nexus handset employs the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor that tags along 1.5GHz quad core Krait CPU so users can experience a faster and efficient performance. It treats users to a generous helping of the latest Android Jelly Bean v4.2 OS that has been assigned the task of offering a user-friendly interface.
The discrete graphics of the Nexus 4 are displayed through its capacitive touchscreen that measures 4.7 inches diagonally. This WXGA IPS display has a Corning Gorilla Glass 2 film over it and can project HD images in 1280 x 768p resolution at 320ppi. It even makes the most of the Zerogap Touch technology as well as the G2 Touch Hybrid display technology.
And if that’s not enough, it is equipped with a 1.3MP front-mounted webcam in order to enable users to engage in video conferencing over the web. There’s an advanced 8MP rear-facing camera as well, for capturing high resolution still shots and videos. The Wi-Fi-certified device runs on 3G and 2G networks and boasts of some other attributes such as Bluetooth and NFC or Android Beam amongst others.
The Google LG Nexus 4 is up for grabs for £399.99 off-contract or for £35 with a two-year contract and qualifying data plans.
