Back in the month of January, Google released its upgraded Goggles 1.3 version for Android devices. The official Google Mobile blog highlights that the company has now rolled out the latest Google Goggles 1.4 version. This new solution renders optimized search history, the capability to recommend improved results in case Google cannot precisely match the user’s image or the result quality is mediocre and, advanced business card recognition.

In order to send a suggestion to Google, users can simply tap ‘Can you suggest a better result?’ on the results page. Further, they can choose the appropriate part of the image and submit a tag. Tags will be utilized to enhance recognition in object categories where Goggles provides desired results. Business card recognition is swift and easy-to-use. Besides, Goggles now recognizes the information as a contact, thereby making it simpler to include users’ contact list.

The revived search history functionalities enable users to search Goggles results, create personal notes on particular results and effortlessly share results with friends. When a personal note is included in a Goggles result, the note will intuitively appear in the search history. Additionally, notes allow users to flawlessly manage their search history. Users can also include a personalized message while sharing their results with friends.

Google Goggles 1.4 version can now be downloaded on Android 1.6 devices and above.
