The company revealed this development through a post on the official Google Mobile blog.
So if fans are making an impromptu plan for a movie, all they have to do is type in the name of the film. The search engine will not only inform them about when and where it is playing, but also give a short summary, ratings, and other such useful data about the same. All this will be arranged in ascending order of significance, along with posters or official video trailers at the top of the page.
On the other hand, if there is particular theater about which customers want to know more, Google also takes care of that. It will tell movie buffs about what’s playing at the searched location. In addition to this, it also saves fans from the long, time-consuming ticket-counter queues. Because typing on the underlined show timing should do the task for users.
The inclusion of movie information in Google search results is currently restricted to the U.S. and is available only in English. The service can be availed of from any Android smartphone or the iPhone.
