Stars feature in mobile search has already made a lot of things easier for searchers. According to the Official Google Mobile Blog, Google has recently extended its Star feature so users can get to their favorite content on their mobile device anytime, anywhere.
For offering users a personalized search experience, the updated feature allows users to simply click the star marker on any search result or map. The next time users perform a search, that particular item will appear in a special list right at the top of their results when relevant.
Users can now star a few results and then do the search again to see their starred items appear at the top of their results. The Stars in search functionality is currently supported on Android phones, iPhones, and Palm webOS mobile devices in the US.
