Google brings ‘click-to-call’ phone numbers in Mobile Ads

Google Click to Call

Users may be heard muttering ‘thanks Google’ once this news reaches. Google has just made it simpler for users and advertisers to find each other via mobile ads. According to the official Google Mobile Blog, Google has recently launched a new feature that lets phone users click on a phone number in an advertisement to automatically place a call to the advertiser.

The recently unveiled feature now enables advertisers to add a clickable local phone number to their mobile ads. If using an iPhone, Android, or other smartphone, then just click the number to call the business. In fact, the ads and phone numbers displayed are based on the caller’s location, so if a user searches for a chain store, the ad will automatically display the closest location.

Besides, users can use My Location to ensure that they get search results that are tailored to their location. And, if planning to be in another city next week and want to call ahead to make the reservation, then include the city in the search query to get the most relevant results.

Hopefully, Google’s latest feature will make a difference to users’ entire search experience.
