Nexus 7 price officially unveiled in India and up for pre-order on Play store

The price of the Nexus 7 tablet has been officially let out in India and the Asus-Google creation can be procured for Rs. 15,999. Well, it looks like both companies have decided to bring the device to the eagerly waiting public earlier than expected. Though the device comes in options of 8GB, 16GB and 32GB, only the second variant will be stepping into the country as of now. Also, the slates comes with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform out of the box and it should be upgradeable to version 4.2.

Since, the 32GB version is the only device in the line-up to proffer 3G support, potential customers can expect to attain internet access only through WLAN. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 3.0 and NFC. Owing to the incorporation of a 1.2GHz quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and 1GB of RAM, the device gains momentum to carry out tasks assigned to it. As far as stamina is concerned, the 4325mAh battery keeps the tablet up and running for around 10 hours of web-browsing or approximately 300 hours of standby time.
