Google Apps Connector For BlackBerry Enterprise Server

Back in August we witnessed the launch of the Google Apps Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Servers. Since the release, Google focused its attention towards fulfilling the ever-growing needs of various enterprises operating their personal BlackBerry Enterprise Servers, supporting over hundreds of BlackBerry smartphone users per server, reports the Google Mobile Blog.

Enterprises of all sizes are adopting Google Apps as the compelling needs for supporting BlackBerry devices are divergent like their businesses. Google now makes it simpler for large and small businesses to handle their BlackBerry smartphones and save a lot of money.

Google Apps Connector for BES version 1.5 enables large enterprises to conveniently support 500 BlackBerry devices per server, which is twice the previous number. With this ability, large companies can serve more users with lesser number of servers.

Small businesses also benefit from the Apps Connector. It supports BlackBerry Professional Software that is designed for around 30 BlackBerry smartphones. Google also allows a single BlackBerry Enterprise Server to serve users in several Google Apps domains. This permits hosting partners to provide low cost hosting services effortlessly.

Google plans to make it simpler for other mobile users to support Google Apps in future as well.
