Garmin has been paving the path for numerous technology sectors with their GPS solutions. The Garminfone that integrates this GPS technology was unveiled back in April through T-Mobile. The phone is now being sold for $199.99 on a customer contract basis.

The phone incorporates a 3MP camera with AF functionality. It is powered by the Android OS and supports Wi-Fi and 3G networks. This Bluetooth 2.1 ready device flaunts a 3.5” touchscreen that displays 320 x 480p resolutions.

Users are offered on-screen and voice guided directions along with details on current traffic updates and weather forecast. Visual Voicemail enables users to listen to voicemail messages in any order, respond in just one click and manage the inbox without dialing in to the network.

Garminfone allows users to access a lot of apps through the Android Market as well as e-mail, text and instant messaging. It supports Microsoft Exchange sync and includes a host of services like Google Talk, YouTube, Google Calendar and more.

Users can purchase the Garmifone on a two-year contract basis through T-Mobile at $199.99 with the Even More plan or without the contract for $449.99 with the Even More Plus plan.
