Fresh Android Music app test build leaked

Android Music app

Apparently, at the Google I/O that took place in May this year the search engine giant had showcased a demo of something higher and enhanced than Froyo. This included an all-new music player with some extraordinarily functions like the ability to browse music on the PC through the handset. Well, the truth is Gingerbread came along without this functionality, leaving us to wonder if it’ll ever see the light.

Forum members of XDA developers have managed to get their hands on a leaked test build of the revamped Android music player. Presumably integrated with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, this music app pulls out some fresh and vibrant attributes. The music player has been given a face lift with some great aesthetics and a more comprehensive view of the visual album analogous to the Android image viewer.

Ostensibly, there is word in the web world regarding the ability to browse music stored on a computer via the handset. It is said that members of the forum have commented on the streaming functionality being referenced but not functional as of yet.

As most of the above is just a hearsay, nothing can be asserted unless and until we see the player functioning on 3.0, which might take quite some time to be released. So stay tuned for more information.
