Fotopedia Heritage application

Earlier, the MoMA application enabled mobile aficionados to visit museums and exhibitions on their handy devices. Now, the latest to mark its presence is the Fotopedia Heritage application from Fotonauts for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices. Through this tool, users can seamlessly access pictures of the UNESCO World Heritage Center and travel to some amazing locations right on their devices.

With a portfolio of around 890 websites, users can easily navigate different destinations. Further, the Fotopedia community enables hundreds and thousands of photographers and curators to display their photos in these sites. About 20,000 images which illustrate 3,000 points of interest are already integrated in this application. This application is a fascinating way to know about new places as almost every day more pictures are added.

By carefully selecting tags, travelers can explore deeper destinations. They can also gain knowledge about those locations by reading rich descriptions from UNESCO and Wikipedia. Furthermore, users can explore each site individually and browse an interactive map as well. They can search on TripAdvisor travel information for the World Heritage Sites and personally visit their preferred locations as well.

The Fotopedia Heritage application is available for free through iTunes.
