FixerLabs Picturefxr iPhone App hits Apple iTunes Store

FixerLabs Logo FixerLabs recently unveiled a new app for the iPhone that claims to transform the Apple device into a compact digital camera. The innovative iPhone app christened Picturefxr automatically enhances and enlarges photos.

By employing this app, users can now obtain better quality photos in terms of sharpness, brightness, clarity and color accuracy. The iPhone’s photos are sent to external servers via the app, where they are enhanced and enlarged. The improved images are then stored on users’ private photo gallery and instantly returned by email.

“The innovative model we have adopted for Picturefxr makes the App really easy to use. Enhancing photos on external servers means there is no compromise on the enhancement technology that we use. And even the best iPhone photos will benefit from Picturefxr,” remarked Tim Atherton, FixerLabs’ Technical Director.

Further, the app also sends full-size original photos over Wi-Fi or 3G to the Picturefxr servers. Users can also demand for increase in the pixel size, about double or four times the number of pixels than the original. The Picturefxr app employs blind deconvolution from FocusFixer V2 that is used for sharpening images as well as the SizeFixer technology for resizing or enlarging photos. All these functionalities are just a single button click away.

The Picturefxr app can be downloaded from the Apple iTunes Store.
