Farmville Game

Farmville fanatics have more reasons to rejoice! There are chances that the globally appreciated game may book a place for itself on the iPhone and Android devices. Mashable reports that users may soon be able to take care of their virtual farms on mobile phones as well.

Reportedly, appears to have been leaked following an interesting observation by Tumblr blog Supererogatory. They discovered that the domain names farmvilleandroid.com, farmvilleipad.com, farmvilleiphone.com and farmvillesms.com had been registered with DNStination Inc. DNStination is the third party that holds farmville.com, the official website for Zynga’s virtual farming game.

Reportedly, Zynga’s spokesperson remarked on the speculation by saying that, “Zynga plans to expand to various mobile platforms. We cannot provide additional information at this time.”

Although the quote partially affirms the news, the missing blanks still keep confirmation under wraps. The undisclosed information may include details regarding platforms and time frames. Moreover, it may also be the case that certain mobile platforms have limited functionality in comparison to Facebook and desktop browsers. Hence, it appears that users would have to wait until the technical details such as how mobile virtual farming will work, are clearly understood.

Supposedly, the mobile devices which may get Farmville include the iPhone and Android smartphones.
