Facebook WP7 v.1.1 Recently, we had reported on Chitika announcing that the Windows Phone 7 platform was outnumbered over 1 to 100 by iOS and Android. Well, this could be a major reason why app developers bring updates to this platform a little after the iPhone and Android.

According to WMpowerhouse.com, the Facebook app for Windows Phone 7 has been upgraded to version 1.1 with an assortment of fresh features. It is said to now include the ability to tag photos directly from social butterflies’ WP7 powered handset. This would surely make things easier as they hop over to check out or upload images of the latest party.

In addition to the above, this application will now incorporate Facebook Places. This function gives out users’ GPS position thus allowing their friends to locate them effortlessly. The folks over at the website claim that Live Tiles support will not be found in the fresh variant 1.1 of this software. Apparently the Facebook for Windows Phone 7 version 1.1 application can be downloaded from the Windows Marketplace.
