F-Secure and CSL get together to provide Mobile security

F-Secure on CSL mobiles now Security provider F-Secure Corporation and Hong Kong’s successful mobile operator CSL have partnered to secure the mobile phone from various virus threats and provide a safe mobile computing experience

This agreement will make CSL the first mobile service provider in Greater China to enable a complete on-device and over-the-air security updates to its customers. F-secure will now protect CSL mobile user from mobile viruses, spyware and other unwanted attacks. F-Secure will protect all these attacks and guard the gates of such attacks such as Bluetooth, infected memory cards or computer while data is being transferred.

This Brilliant F-Secure Mobile Security Service will be available for a trial period from April 8, 2008 which will be available to 1O1O and One2Free CSL customers. The antivirus and firewall protection will be pre-installed in Symbian Series 60 second and third edition smartphones, Windows 6 Professional PDA and Sony Ericsson UIQ devices.

The pricing for this service will be on monthly basis and it will be shown on the CSL mobile subscriber’s bill after the trial period is complete.
