Explore and Share with Nokia’s new Wireless Data Transfer Concept

Explore Share Concept A new concept has just popped up from Nokia-world. Folks over at the Helsinki branch of the Nokia Research Center have recently introduced an all new Explore and Share concept. The fast brand-new wireless data transfer concept has been tailored to fit in the retail environment.

Explore and Share enables an ultra fast and wireless transfer of content from a retail sales writer to a mobile device. The working prototype could be used to fill a device with stacks of the best apps, tunes, games and any other flavor of digital content, within moments. Based on new radio technology, Explore and Share sees users place their device on a ‘writer’ which is connected to a separate touchscreen monitor. This radio tech establishes a short-range connection between the writer and the device, and doesn’t take in any other radio networks.

Further, the writer is immediately paired with and identifies users’ mobile device, and quickly brings up relevant content that is available for it on the large touchscreen monitor. From here users can tap to transfer the apps, music albums, games, videos and other extras, direct to their handset in seconds.

Hopefully, the latest innovation from the Nokia Research Center will open the doors of possibility for many to execute various tasks with minimal effort.
