Evernote for BlackBerry refreshed

Evernote For BlackBerry Evernote for BlackBerry is announced to have received the 3.3 update. The application is a suite of software and services designed for note taking and archiving, the upgrade of which promises to provide users with a considerably enhanced experience through its various new features.

With this upgrade, the process of taking down notes has become faster as the app no longer needs to request information from the service constantly. Upon launching the app, a sync is what happens at once. This sync pulls down thumbnails and certain information about users’ notes such as titles and tags among others. It enables users to go through their note list even when offline.

The 3.3 update will store users’ notes locally on their respective devices. There would no longer be the need for a network connection to view the note later. In the event of the note possessing an attached file, such as a PDF, users will first have to view the file while a network connection is available before perusing it offline.

The refreshed Evernote app allows people to make new notes with text, audio and pictures while on the move. After creation, these notes are pinned to the top of the note list in a Pending state until users get onto a network where they will be synced into the concerned account. Users can now conveniently browse by notebooks and tags by visiting the search screen and typing in a notebook or tag. These will then appear in the drop down menu.

The Evernote for BlackBerry app is now available for downloading through the BlackBerry App World.
