The all new Evernote Food app for Android is set to lend its flavor to devices on the Google mobile OS diet. Having been upgraded for iOS gadgets not so long ago, the utility allows users to store their experiences at the table.

Meals can be created by using photos captured in the past that appear as snapshots above the screen. Once the required images are stored in the gallery, Evernote attaches the date of the Meal to the image date. When the snaps are added, people can stick a caption to it in order to make the pictures look nicely detailed.

The photo list present on the lower panel of the Meal screen is there to delete images or edit captions. Additionally, users can give each of the eateries a title or leave it blank if they wish. The Evernote Food app for Android will then grace the blank space with a label going with the present moment and location. It also allows clubbing of different food items into a single bunch by giving them tags.

Once a Meal is created, the utility allots it a place and nails down the concerned location on the map. The Places field displays the names of food joints and other venues found near the respective user’s location. All areas across the world are claimed to be traceable, courtesy of foursquare. The Places can be personalized as well by using tags like ‘home’ and others. Considering the app in question is part of the Evernote family, content spread across all offerings from the company are synced.

A notes section allocated to the bottom of each Meal screen will show any relevant content from other applications like Evernote Hello. The app exploits the integrated sharing attributes offered by the Android OS for sending Meals to friends via any other social utility. The complete assortment of Meals made is listed out so that the concerned people can scroll through. When the number of Meals increase by a confusing number, just tapping on the magnifying glass will enable searching.

The Evernote Food app for Android can be downloaded via Google Play.
