Emobile is introducing two new mobile phone models which are manufactured by Toshiba and can support voice calls. They are the ‘S11HT’ which is also known as ‘EMONSTER’ and H11T. Both these mobile phones support HSDPA with a downloading speed of 3.6Mbps.
The S11HT is a smartphone which measures 112 x 59 x 19mm and weighs 190grams. It offers a QWERTY type keyboard similar to a computer which helps the user to type messages easily. It has a 2.8-inche QVGA LCD which is a touch screen, allowing the user to touch the icon on the screen to operate it.
The other features offered by S11HT include a Windows Mobile 6 which allows the users to use and browse files in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF formats. It also has a 3.0 mega-pixel camera which offers a nice resolution. It also has a wireless LAN and comes bundled with Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and GPS capabilities. S11HT’s comes built with Li-ion secondary battery’s capacity.
The sceond mobile phone H11T includes a 400 x 240 resolution LCD panel and its main display offers 96 x 39 resolution monochrome OLED as a sub-display since it is a clamshell handset.
The H11T offers a CMOS camera with 3.2 mega-pixel resolution. It also has a 1seg tuner. The H11T built-in Li-ion secondary battery’s capacity is 800mAh. The H11T mobile phone measures 50 x 104 x 17.9mm which is around 130grams.
Emobile is going to start its order booking from March 1, 2008. The handset will be made available through electronics retailers and Emobile’s Website. The cost of S11HT is ¥67,980 which is around (Rs.25,432) while H11T ¥57,980 which is around (Rs.21,697) with basic plan. With two year plan the user can purchase the handset in installments for a cost of ¥19,980 around (Rs.7,480) for S11HT and ¥9,980 which is around (Rs.3,737) for H11T. This plan is made available with only two year subscription which cost ¥1,000 which is around (Rs. 375) every month in addition to the service.
