Eliktrobit has introduced its new Satellite Terrestrial Device. The company is currently working on this device that claims it to be the world’s first satellite cellular hybrid phone.
The new Satellite Terrestrial Device features a sleek design like the normal smartphones and easily slips into your pocket. Sporting a compact form factor, it will not include any external antenna.
Based on Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional operating system, this device sports a touchscreen display and a QWERTY keyboard. The Satellite Terrestrial Device supports Terrestar 2.2 GHz and Quadband GSM connectivity. It comes integrated with the satellite terrestrial voice and data capabilities.
This new device also packs in various other features such as 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, 100MB internal memory, microSD card support, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity for sharing data wirelessly, SMS, MMS, Email, Push to Talk and Location Based Services.
