The freshly unveiled Duracell Powermat 24 Hour Power System is here to keep the iPhone 4/4S alive and kicking, around the clock. It features 3 components inclusive of a wireless power transmitting mat, a special charging case and a portable backup battery.
First off, a slim component called the Powermat needs to be hooked onto a wall outlet. Devices dropped onto the mat will be filled up wirelessly. In order the make the iPhone or any other handset rub along nicely with the Powermat, users simply have to envelop the device in the case included in the system. Once the Apple smartphone is cloaked with the cover, it can be placed on the Powermat and juiced up.

It carries Apple connectors and micro-USB ports that make the accessory compatible with almost any kind of smartphone. Once the battery loses it power, it can be set up for recharging by just placing it beside the phone on the Powermat.
The Duracell Powermat 24 Hour Power System is now available for the iPhone 4 and 4S across major retailers in New York. Its price is marked at $99.99 and the charger will support a range of other smartphones from fall onwards.
