Movie makers and film buffs can now access a plethora of information pertaining to the services and individuals that are part of the entertainment industry, through an iPhone app. Jim Robertson and Rich Kwiat, the creators of the software have released the Doddle Pro which is supported by a website.

“With Doddle, we’ve created a product that brings us one step closer to a completely paperless world,” says Robertson.

The Doddle Pro is said to be created by filmmakers for film enthusiasts and movie makers. It claims to offer the most recent and updated database of businesses and individuals, which are related to the entertainment sector including the TV and film industry. The term doddle symbolizes an easy task or child’s play. Thus, by introducing this app the company intends to simplify the process of making films.

It integrates information about locations, film offices, vendors, crew, talent, and other resources from all over the world. This application lets users create and share digital call sheets negating the requirement of printing bulky production guides. What’s more, the company even states that Doddle Pro could be the new ‘bible’ for any TV/film executive planning a production.
