The month of July seemed to be sprawling with news based on the highly-awaited Dell Streak. We reported that the sparkling offering would hit store shelves late last month. There was also some bit of news that caught the attention of text enthusiasts as the Streak was paired with the diNovo Mini from Logitech. Now the much-anticipated carbon black Android-based 5 inch tablet dubbed as the Dell Streak is all set to make its way into the U.S. tomorrow.

Fashioned to provide users with social connection, navigation and entertainment anytime, anywhere, the tablet is much suited for active families and mobile professionals. Through the wide 5-inch multi-touch WVGA display screen, they can access loads of Android Market widgets as well as enjoy applications and games. It also comes complete with integrated Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. Streak features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon solution complete with integrated 1GHz processor. Dell’s product has the ability to support suture applications, software and platform upgrades.

Dell Streak owners will be able to experience Google Maps with turn-by-turn navigation, satellite and street views while also taking advantage of social media apps such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. Other features include UMTS / GPRS / EDGE class 12 GSM radio complete with link speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps and 2GB internal storage. Loads of pictures, movies, songs and more can also be stored as the product comes with Micro SD expandable memory up to 32GB.

Users residing in U.S and are eager to get their hands on the Dell Streak can order it today itself. The tablet is scheduled to be available tomorrow for a price of $299.99 with new two-year AT&T contract. Without a contract, the device can be picked up for a cost of $549.99.
