Cricket unveils the A100 candybar phone

Cricket A100 phone and logo Cricket Communication launched a new mobile phone called the Cricket A100. The new slim candybar phone offers users a wealth of features at an affordable price.

The Cricket A100 phone boasts of a sleek and stylish form factor. The phone sports a 1.8 inch LCD screen with 128 x 160 resolution and delivers 65k vibrant colors. It measures 4.44×1.94x.55 inches and weighs only 2.47 ounces. For better convenience, the phone includes a speech recognition feature that will allow handsfree dialing.

The A100 phone features an internal antenna and packs in a mini USB charging port and a 2.5mm mono headset jack. It also includes common features like vibration and a speakerphone as well. The phone comes with an internal memory of 31MB and is compatible with hearing aid complaint.

Additionally, the Cricket A100 mobile phone supports Mobile Web and allows users to download interesting applications and time-killer games. The phone provides a standby time of upto 250 minutes and a talktime of upto 4.5 hours.

The Cricket A100 phone is available at Cricket stores and dealers in Chicago for $89.99.
