Jigsaw puzzles are now made more colorful and vivid with the latest iPhone game dubbed Chromixa. Developed by Simon Watson, the new color-blending puzzle exploits the touch interface of the iPhone.
Players need to move shapes of red, green and blue light, overlapping each other to create a new colored shape. The game features original music by Stian Stark, sports 3 arcade-style mini games and 48 classic puzzles. The Chromixa also incorporates an animated tutorial that helps communicate the color-mixing concept.
“The idea for Chromixa came from working on pieces of light art. The way that red, green, and blue light combine lends itself perfectly to a beautiful and simple puzzle game. The touch controls of the iPhone create a wonderfully interactive and relaxing experience, letting the player manipulate shapes of light with their fingers. With its simple one-finger controls, players can easily solve the puzzles with no time limit. The iPhone app supports US English, German, French, Italian and Spanish languages and is compatible with iPhone 2.2.1 or later.
