The Nokia Lumia 920T price and release details have been announced for China Mobile. The Finnish manufacturer is all set to introduce a modified version of its flagship WP8 smartphone in the country.
Turning towards the handset’s specifications, it sports a 4.5-inch capacitive multi-touch display having a resolution of 768 x 1280 pixels, fitted onto the front. The ClearBlack technology has been included by the manufacturer with a view to offer better visibility regardless of the light in the surrounding.
Placed on the rear side is an 8.7MP camera that includes attributes like touch focus, image editor and geo-tagging. The company further pin points to certain features that the smartphone is expected to possess. Through the PureView floating lens technology, users should be able to click comparatively brighter pictures.
The Lumia 920T is fitted with a 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 chipset that basically delivers it with speed to carry out operations. As opposed to prior WP8 phones, it has been designed to support China’s TD-SCDMA network.
Besides 32GB of onboard memory, the handset offers 1GB of RAM. It consumes the power of a 2000mAh battery that as per company’s claims, grants 3G users with talk time of up to 18.8 hours or 520 hours of standby.
Stephen Elop, President and CEO of Nokia, expresses his delight in exposing the East Asian country to its first Lumia running on Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system. He believes since the gadget has been receiving positive reviews across the globe, this partnership should further help expand its target audience.
The Nokia Lumia 920T will be up for purchase at a price of CN¥4,599 through China Mobile. Buyers can expect it to make an appearance in stores by the end of the year splashed in hues of black, white, yellow and red.
