Cellular South brings Android 2.1 software update for HTC Hero

Battery life is enhanced with power meter and savings features. Users can search the entire phone contents in one place with utmost ease. The update offers voice dialing, voice demands and various preloaded Android and HTC widgets for their users’ convenience. When on an active call the screen highlights the speakerphone and mute buttons. Additionally, users can add, delete and edit words used for messages and typing with the dictionary management. The update includes advanced safe connectivity options for Wi-Fi and VPN. Various updated graphical icons on the screen enhance the functionality of the handset.

The handset is coupled with Cellular South’s Smartphone Unlimited Plan which costs $59.98 per month per line for two line.
