The Celkon Campus A63 has entered the budget smartphone territory in India and is all set to be up for sale through authorized retailers for Rs 4,499. This device is not the only one to have been introduced in the Campus series of Celkon, other smartphones like A10, A20 and A60 will also be coming soon.
Featuring two SIM slots for a couple of GSM cards, the Celkon Campus A63 is a compact device that offers a multi-touch real estate of 4 inches. The capacitive display is said to be capable of rendering clear visuals in a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Apart from this, the front side is also fitted with a webcam for facilitating video conferencing even while on the move.
As for the primary camera, the handset comes equipped with a 3.2MP one which should have the ability to record decent-quality videos. The internal working of the phone is carried out under the supervision of a dual core processor running at a speed of 1.2GHz, while its intuitive interface can be attributed to the Android Jelly Bean 4.2 platform.
And what’s more, the smartphone sports some of the essential sensors such as those which detect ambient light and proximity. It has about 256MB of RAM and offers merely 512MB of internal storage. Nevertheless, an expansion bay can be found on the device for allowing prospective customers to increase the hoarding space by up to 32GB using a microSD card. It draws power from a 1500mAh battery.
The Campus A63 carries a price tag of Rs 4,499.
