A new application launched exclusively for the latest Apple smartphone, the iPhone 4S called the Camera Butterfly app promises to make pictures taken from the handset more colorful and creative. Developed by the web designer company, Creanncy, this app is also capable of working on the iPad 2.

This new photo editing app should appeal to those who like butterfly designs as it allows users to capture photos as well as load existing ones and endow it with various kinds of butterfly patterns. Owners of the iOS devices can create beautiful and colorful butterfly photo frames for their pictures.

Built with a butterfly centric theme, the freshly released app is compatible with the new iOS 5 and offers users an option of more than 30 cliparts to choose from. Photo enthusiasts can employ their creative juices to form different types of butterfly themed photo frames and combine them altogether to make a completely new frame as well. The photo tool provides them with previews of their creations before locking the final design.

There are 3 sizes of the pretty insect namely, small, medium and large, all of which come dipped in a plethora of funky hues and shades. If users don’t like something in their designs, the app allows for resetting back to the original image with just a single tap. Additionally, iPhone 4S and iPad 2 owners can also share their finished frames with others on Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr.
