Bose SoundTouch Wi-Fi music system to be up for grabs next month

The Bose SoundTouch Wi-Fi music systems have come to India with the purpose of offering a new way of listening to music. As the name suggests, it uses Wi-Fi for streaming music from either from the web or your collection and plays them in all the rooms at home. The company claims that these systems automatically receive software updates rolled out for new features.

Interested customers can place these peripherals in every room and they all stay connected wirelessly at all times using the Wi-Fi. The OEM has introduced a set of three devices, 30 and 20 Wi-Fi systems and Portable Wi-Fi system. Some other gadgets will be launched in the range in a few months time. Apart from playing the same music in all rooms, these can also be used for playing different music in different rooms.

Bose SoundTouch Wi-Fi

First up is the 30 Wi-Fi system that has dimensions of 10 x 17 x 7 inches and makes the most of the waveguide technology. A proprietary woofer has also been thrown into the mix. The 20 Wi-Fi device is comparatively smaller as it comes encased in a 7 x 12 x 4 inches enclosure and works towards delivering natural and high-quality audio.

And the final product in the lineup is the SoundTouch Portable Wi-Fi system. As the name suggests, it is extremely portable and is said to be as big as a book. It measures 6 x 10 x 3 inches and can be carried around the room without worrying about connectivity. Customers have the option of personalizing the presets so it instantly starts a specific radio station, playlist, music service channel and more. They can be controlled via handheld devices with the help of a dedicated app and are even AirPlay enabled.

Slated to be made available in November, the SoundTouch 30 is priced at Rs 52,763, while 20 and Portable Wi-Fi systems costs Rs 32,512.50, each.
