This sleek device promises to offer new features and improved performance which will offer rich experience to users while surfing the Internet and accessing social networking sites.

Sporting a slim and sophisticated design, this smartphone takes away the crown of being the thinnest full QWERTY keyboard BlackBerry device available till date. The Curve 8900 comes with a striking high resolution display and a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus and image stabilization.

The most notable feature of this new device is the inclusion of Wi-Fi and GPS support. Users with an unlimited data plan will receive free AT&T Wi-Fi access at approximately 20,000 hotspots in the US. This includes restaurants, airports from coast-to-coast, retail stores as well as an unmatched value add for mobile professionals who are most of the time away from their offices. In addition to this, the BlackBerry Curve also seamlessly connects to a home or office Wi-Fi network.

Additionally, the smartphone supports GPS for location based applications and services as well as AT&T Navigator which offers free audible turn-by-turn directions for 30 days after which users will be charged $9.99 per month for unlimited routes. Moreover, the AT&T navigator also provides traffic alerts, access to AT&T Navigator Global Edition for maps and directions in 21 countries and five languages.

Complementing its sleek and stylish design, the BlackBerry Curve packs in an array of multimedia features including expansion of memory upto 16GB and is also likely to support upcoming 32GB microSD card slot. The AT&T customers can also access business listings, phone numbers and more from the Yellowpages.com. It also integrates a media player and XM Radio Mobile which is available for $8.99 per month. This World phone enables a user to access data in over 170 countries and to make calls in over 200 countries. The battery life of the phone provides 5.5 hours of talktime and 15 days of standby time.

Dressed in shades of silver and black finish, the BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone will be available via AT&T stores and online by this early summer. There is no word on its price as yet.
