Bing mobile interface gets a makeover

N-Gage Logo Bing has released an update for its Bing mobile browser at the m.bing.com. Bing has always offered users a mobile-optimized way to do local searches and view maps. This new update will enhance the local searches, quick answers, and maps and also incorporate a few new and advanced features.

The various features that this update tags along include NLF and Flight Status. The NLF feature allows users to type the name of a team or a player and get full details about it including upcoming games, stats, and scores. In the US this feature will also provide real-time updates of matches. The Flight Status feature prompts users to enter the name of an airline and the flight number and provides details like the latest departure and landing times.

The update will also bring in new and improved features for touchscreen devices. The new update enhances the touch navigation and also adds new movie features. This new version of the Bing browser is currently supported by iPhone, Zune HD, T-Mobile G1, Verizon Imagio, and Samsung Omnia.

The update for the Bing browser is now available in more than 31 countries and is compatible with almost any handset. The updated browser can be tried at Bing’s official website.
