About 5 months after it launched, the Barnes & Noble Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight price has dropped to $119 with no ads. And as most are aware, the eReader brings the read-in-the-dark feature as one of its main highlights.
Not only does it allow users to read in dim light, but it also gives the ability to adjust the amount of the light with a simple touch. The device takes on a 6-inch touch panel that sports a built-in anti-glare protector and Best-Text technology for enhanced visuals. Customers can add their personal touch to the reading experience with seven font-size and six font-style customization options.
Built around dimensions of 6.5” x 5” x 0.47”, the slab tips the scales at approximately 6.95 ounces. As per the company’s claims, it is the lightest Nook device ever and it comes with ergonomic soft-touch back panel that adds to the comfort level while reading. Users will have Wi-Fi connectivity for downloading books and connecting with friends over Facebook and Twitter.
On the memory front, the tablet offers 2GB of internal storage that’s further expandable up to 32GB via a built-in microSD card slot. For those concerned about the battery life, it is capable of delivering roughly a month of reading with the GlowLight on, based on a half hour of daily reading time. The duration can also stretch up to 2 months when the GlowLight is turned off.
