Ballistic HC, SG Cases

Companies are carving out trendy mobile phones which encompass interesting features, thereby augmenting the need to shield them with protective cases which also enhance the overall appearance. Ballistic has doffed the silk off its new Ballistic SG and HC cases.

The Ballistic SG case moves in for the Motorola Droid X and HTC Evo while the Ballistic HC case for the HTC Evo and Samsung Fascinate. The Ballistic HC cases flaunt five protective layers and the Ballistic SG cases come with three tough layers. Owners can grab these sheaths in distinct vibrant color options and finishes.

The sleek Ballistic SG case shields the handset and slips into the pocket with utmost ease. The outermost layer is crafted with soft Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) for enhanced shock absorption. The middle layer that is made of sturdy impact resistant polycarbonate is co-molded with the TPU layer to avoid unexpected damages. The inner-most layer is made using soft silicone along with Ballistic Corners to precisely absorb shock.

“The Ballistic SG and HC have offered customers worldwide a rugged option to protect their mobile devices from everyday drops and scratches,” remarked Adam Stubin, VP of Business Development, Ballistic. “Given the immense popularity of these two models, we wanted to be sure we offered the same protection to other mobile devices users, guaranteeing these additional devices will survive life!”

The Ballistic HC case shows off an optional outer gel skin layer, a front facing inward holster and an integrated screen protector. The offering touts to protect the speaker and microphone with a water resistant mesh. The camera and flash openings come with a clear lens cover. The optional silicone layer includes connector seals to restrict the ports from dust or dirt.

The Ballistic SG case for the Motorola Droid X is priced at $34.99 and the Ballistic HC case for the HTC Evo at $49.99. These cases can be purchased from the Ballistic’s official website as well as AT&T’s official website and retail locations. The company is expected to roll out the Ballistic SG case for the HTC Evo in late February.
