AT&T unveils quick messaging smartphones

AT&T LG, Samsung and Nokia phones

AT&T has a penchant for phones that are made for heavy texting. The carrier has unveiled a series of messaging phones namely the LG Xenon, LG Neon, Samsung Impression, Samsung Propel, Samsung Magnet and Nokia E71x. These phones help users to manage their business as well as personal lives while on the go.

The LG Xenon phone boasts of a full QWERTY keypad, a large touchscreen display and an intuitive user interface. The phone features a 2 megapixel camera and supports 3G. It packs in various AT&T entertaining features like AT&T Navigator, eMusic Mobile, Napster Mobile and more. This phone will be available in three vibrant colors, red, blue and black and carries a price tag worth $99.99.

Dressed in white and green, the LG Neon phone will soon be available at an attractive price. It sports a full QWERTY keypad and a 2 megapixel camera. This phone will also provide access to Mobile Email, AT&T Music, Instant Messaging and Mobile Internet.

The Samsung Impression phone comes with an AMOLED screen. This phone incorporates a 3 megapixel camera and supports full browser. It will be available from April 7 for $199.99.

Based on Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, the Samsung Propel Pro phone offers various useful functions and applications for business. It adorns a silver and chrome color and features a full QWERTY keypad with support for Wi-Fi connectivity. This phone retails at $149.99 and will hit the shelves on April 14.

The incredibly slim Samsung Magnet phone supports a WAP browser and comes integrated with a camera. Dressed in orange and black color, the phone appeals to teens who prefer a low cost messaging phone.

The Nokia E71x will soon be available and is priced at $99.99. Based on S60 Symbian OS, this 10mm thick phone offers many Symbian based applications and also includes the AT&T Navigator.
