AT&T has announced the looming arrival of the Samsung Focus S and Samsung Focus Flash on November 6 through its official Facebook page. Both the phones run on the new Windows Phone Mango operating system and were said to be developed by the company following the success and popularity of the Samsung Focus. The mobile phones appear to be quite similar in appearance, with the significant difference being the curved edges of the Focus S compared to the sharp ones of its Focus Flash counterpart.

The Samsung Focus S comes equipped with a 4.3-inch 480 x 800 Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen and operates on a 1.4GHz processor. It is embedded with a 1.3MP front and an 8MP rear facing camera featuring autofocus, LED flash, image stabilization and smile detection. Furthermore, the handset offers users multiple connectivity options such as 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS and EDGE.

The Samsung Focus Flash comes integrated with a 5MP camera possessing 4x zoom which allows users to shoot videos in 720p HD and a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display. This smartphone delivers a talk and standby time of up to 6.5 hours and 250 hours, respectively. Powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor, it offers users 4G speeds that are said to enhance the mobile processing performance.

According to AT&T’s official Facebook page, the Samsung Focus S price and Focus Flash price read at $199.99 and $49.99, respectively. There will obviously be accompanying data plans and customer agreements to sign up for too.
